Chosen to become the wife of the infamous Conjurer Fausto, with no family to claim her, Alula’s fate has always been tied to the whims of the powerful Conjurers who manage the Palace of the Chosen, where she is simultaneously a jewel of the Palace and a servant. When Alula starts having dreams about her life before the Palace, memories which should have been erased from her mind upon arrival, her world is suddenly shaken.
